In the mid 1990s Jojo (Crispin V. Venal Jr.) acquired the 2 lots adjacent the Venal Ancestral lots along Pasadena Drive in San Juan. In its earlier years the Venal lots or compound as some other locals call it have been through a number of transformations.

In its earlier years it housed furnished apartments and units, including a common room, games room, swimming pool, spa and a sauna. A PABX system was installed together with a centralized PA system. An in-house coffee shop and bakery was also established within the presmises which also served non-tennants. In addition to this, a purified water station was also established. This was known as "The Venal's Pension House"

In the early 2000s, The Venal's Pension House underwent a major restructure and renovation. Renovations are still on going up to this day. The compound has now been transformed to a multi-door premise where at the moment it is housing 52 doors for rent and rising.

This suits the ever growing need for simpler and affordable living, ideal for transients, students and small families.
